We are pleased to announce the Call for Abstracts for the 12th Annual Symposium hosted by the Anti-Doping Lab Qatar (ADLQ), in collaboration with WADA.
The symposium will bring together researchers, scientists, and experts to explore recent advances in biomarker research and its application in the anti-doping arena.
We invite researchers to submit abstracts related (but not limited) to the following areas:
1. AI, Statistics and development of predictive models
2. Blood and gene doping
3. Athletes' mental health & Novel psychoactive substances (NPS)
4. Physiological studies and omics in biomarker discovery
5. Innovations in sample collection and reporting of results (APMU)
Eligibility: Submissions are open to researchers, graduate students, postdocs, and professionals working in relevant scientific domains.
Submission Guidelines:
· Abstracts must be submitted in English.
· Word count: Maximum 300 words (excluding title, authors, and affiliations).
· Structured abstracts should be formatted into sections: Title, Author(s) and affiliations, Background, Aims/hypothesis, Methods, Results and Conclusion.

Important Dates:
· Abstract submission opens: 1st July 2026
· Abstract submission deadline: 24th August 2026
· Notification of acceptance: Monday, 12 October 2026
· Presenter confirmation deadline: Monday, 26 October 2026
Presentation Format:
Accepted abstracts will be considered for oral/poster presentations, as per preference.
Continuing Professional Development (CPD)
Eligible attendees will be able to claim CPD credits for participation in the symposium, subject to final accreditation approval.
